Sobo Foods was created by Eric Wu and Adam Yee. Two serial entrepreneurs who are Asian American and realized the sustainable options in the market just didn’t resonate with us.
Sobo Foods was able to raise $1.5 million dollars in a tough funding environment. This product was created from scratch. Hand-folded at first, then we bought a machine, and now it is contract manufactured with thoughtful, communicative partners. Formulations and scaling was all done by me.
To date, Sobo Foods has been fortunate to have many opportunities to accelerate our path to market. We are currently in 100 stores in California and growing.
