We have a close eye on the trends in the industry and vet ideas in a way that allows you to position your product for success. This helps with strategizing who your customers are, what channel you want to access and how to market your product to your consumers. From ingredients to consumer packaged goods, Adam has done it all.
Food Product Development
We can develop any product or we can gather the resources to find someone who can develop yours. We break it down and share with you the formulations, the ingredient sourcing, and work with you to connect with a contract manufacturer and maintain that relationship when the time comes. Your product will be designed to sell in either retail, DTC, or B2B and we will share with you the pros and cons of what we believe is the best way to bring your product to the masses.
Pre-Seed and Funding Preparation
Adam is the co-founder of two venture-funded food companies and has worked with many VC firms to vet pitch decks and help founders craft and build a message in how their products resonate with investors. He's also pretty honest in how food companies are funded and will work with you to find other methods to fundraise if the need arises.
Food Safety Crisis Management
Adam has received his PCQI training and works with companies to update and implement their Food Safety Plan. He is quick and can respond technically to lawyers, litigations, and consultants if problems arise in your plant. Adam also can vet products in a regulatory standpoint to make sure you are good to go in selling the product.
Coaching and Encouragement
It's important to have believers. Adam can act as a sounding board to you and encourage you to look at other opportunities in the food industry. Note: Adam is not a certified coach or therapist.

The products I’ve worked on have garnered recognition inside and outside the industry from the Food Network to Startup CPG, I understand the value of taste and will work with you to preserve great quality taste with tips and tricks the food industry has used for decades.

Cleverly Cost Conscious
I will journey with you in understanding the costs of certain materials and recommend ways to reduce the cost of your projects. There are many communication channels, contracts, and creative ways to optimize costs. It's not just the things you buy!
And also, we run a lean and mean ship here. We understand that making new products and optimizing old ones is hard work and can be an anxiety-inducing risk. We will work with you to make a budget that’s reasonable and flexible.
Correlating the Data
I'm a food scientist and data is an important part of the decision-making process. However, building startups from zero have told me when to use this data and when to trust your gut.
There are many ways to gather, interpret and share data and as your food business grows, the more important data becomes to potential investors and retailers.
